An interactive 'Presentation Skills' workshop to develop your knowledge, attitudes, skills and habits to help you deliver presentations with confidence, ease and success!

Making a presentation to a group of individuals is one of those requests we tend to shy away from. However, the skills we actually use to make a good presentation are ones we already use all the time. These basic skills can be developed with practice, and feedback from a supportive group, and an experienced tutor rapidly increases confidence.

Participants will examine the process underlying effective communication, how to plan and prepare a presentation including the use of visual aids including powerpoint.

COURSE OBJECTIVES:

This course will help participants to: 

• Plan and deliver a presentation.

• Understand the elements of successful public speaking.

• Adopt a presentation style appropriate to the audience.

A supportive and relaxed atmosphere will be encouraged, and active participation will be sought from course members.
