(There's always an open door and a cuppa and an invitation to let's talk it through.)

The first time I met Sharon I knew she was someone I wanted to work with. It may sound hackneyed but meeting her has changed my life.

Let me explain. Talking to her I knew that she shared my ethics about training, the way you treat people and offering individual solutions to individual challenges.

There are a lot of trainers out there who pay lip service to offering training that's different and tailored to the needs of organisations. What you find though is that they'll simply reshuffle what they've delivered before and then call it a new solution.

That never happens at Vision. We start with a client brief and a blank piece of paper. What we end up with is a unique solution for that unique situation.

I've worked for Vision for about 6 years now and I've never looked back. One, just one of Sharon and Brendan's abilities, is spotting the strengths and skills of each person who works for them and helping them recognise how they can develop them.

I love working in an atmosphere where there is constant support. Where anyone with an idea for developing the business is listened to with respect. Where there is always something new and exciting happening.

At the moment I deliver confidence training - using cookery as a delivery method. And because of my work with Vision I'm getting referrals to other organisations. The freelance work I carry out for Vision suits my lifestyle to fit around my family commitments.

And even though I carry out the training alone, there's a wide range of other trainers and tutors I can contact informally or through a more formal trainer group to help me.

What's struck me about Vision, apart from the friendliness and fun, is the attention to detail regardless of the size of the project. The smallest community project receives the same care and planning as the largest commercial project.

Sharon and Brendan have a talent for attracting and keeping individuals who together make up the Vision team because they share the same ethos. And once you're part of their team they look after you so you can produce your best work for them. There's always an open door and a cuppa and an invitation to let's talk it through.

For me working for Vision has proved a way forward professionally and personally. As you can probably tell, I love it. This is where I should stop now yes...?

But one last thing. If you want to join us I'd love you to speak to Sharon or Brendan then when we meet up I can tell you more about how you'll never look back.
