I'd been a trainer for some time in local authority and the further education sector when I met Brendan. Because of our shared experiences working for colleges with their targets and deadlines we found we had developed the same approach to the need for flexibility and creativity in training.

Delivering training requires a precise brief but then as a trainer you want to be trusted to deliver that training in the most appropriate way for the group's needs. What I found with Brendan was an acceptance of the artistic element of training.

That is the creative element that gives the training that extra individual stamp. Once I started working with Vision that's exactly what I found. After the project meeting where we outline the responsibilities and the outcomes to be met, as a trainer I am trusted to design the training.

It's difficult for me to overstate the rarity of that trust in the workplace and the importance of its impact on the results you can gain because of it. Vision has the maturity as a company to not merely allow that but to nurture it with all members of their team. It follows then that the team feeling nurtured and special, take that into all aspects of their work which results in those we train gaining because of it.

The breadth of trainers in their backgrounds and cultures is remarkable in a company of this size and because Vision choose their staff with infinite care the depth of understanding and life experiences is outstanding.

Whatever your role in the Vision team, Sharon and Brendan take on your aspirations and are always looking to help you develop as an individual. They want people to grow with them and because of their care in recruitment have a core ethos that is shared by all the team.

I always feel at home within the Vision team and never lonely. Though I may work on my own much of the time I never feel isolated.

The Vision team have delivered training in the last ten years to some of the most challenging groups in this area. The experience they have gained means they have an understanding of how people need to be valued at every level. Therefore the training they deliver promotes inclusiveness and the feeling that as an individual there is no limit to what you can achieve.

That's my personal experience with Vision. As they grow they need more inspirational people to carry out transformational training. Being part of this team is a joy for me. Who knows what it might help you achieve.
